Court access from March 9th

Work started on courts 3 and 4 today, March 9th. During this renovation court access will be reviewed regularly and notices posted at club. We expect courts 3 and 4 to be unavailable for play for up to 2 weeks as the wall, lights and carpets are worked on. There will be some disruption to courts 1, 2 and 5 as rejuvenation work is carried out. Access to courts 5 and 6 may also be restricted due to safety concerns on the days when carpets for 3 and 4 are removed and replaced. Members are asked to exercise care when accessing courts 5 and 6 as lighting and seating is upgraded. Group coaching will continue to take place during this renovation.

Club coaching

Junior club coaching re-commences this week for the Spring term and all juniors involved in same should already have received confirmation of their coaching day and timeslot. If not, please contact the grounds person immediately. We hope you enjoy the new term and remember to put what you learn into practice through the junior ladders and the social tennis events.

Senior Ladders

There has been limited activity over the last few weeks in the ladders so we would encourage all players to dust off their rackets and to organise their matches over the coming weeks. The mixed doubles ladder concludes for this month on Saturday 21 January, while the singles ladder runs until Monday 30 January. As always if you wish to join or drop out of either ladder please advise the grounds person or leave a note on the noticeboard in the club house.
