The Junior Club Championships came to an end on Saturday after a busy week at the club. Photos of the presentations can be viewed in our photo gallery.

Congratulations are due to Morgan Lohan, Harry Walsh and Sinead Lohan for their great performances last week in the 2010 William Fry Junior Lawn Tennis Championships of Ireland. Morgan won the U12 Boy Singles and was runner up in the Boys Doubles. Harry and Sinead won the U16 Mixed Doubles. Harry was also runner up in the U16 Boys Doubles. Sinead also won the U16 Girls Doubles and was runner up in the U18 Girls Singles. Well done to all. You can view the results in more detail from here.

Group coaching for junior members will start up again from 6th of September, with a 14 week term running up to 11th of December. More details can be found here on how to register your interest.

The Junior Club Championships will commence on Sunday 22 August 2010. Please find further details, including timetable, under the Events page.

Senior Open Week commences on Sunday 1st of August. All participants can view their draw and timetable online throughout open week.

This schedule will operate every week for the summer holidays except during Club Competitions 1st-8th August and 22nd-28th August.

A reminder to all senior members that the annual Whistlestop Charity Tournament will take place on Saturday 24th July. Names can be submitted via the noticeboard at the clubhouse. Lots of food, drink and laughter as usual.

Senior Open Week at Tramore Tennis Club will run from Sunday 1st August to Sunday 8th August. Entries are being accepted now by post and the closing date for submission is the 21st of July or earlier if fully subscribed. Fee must accompany entry. The event is sponsored by Heritage Crystal.

The club is making 2 courts available for the Parks Tennis Summer Camp for two weeks from next Monday. This is the final 2 weeks of their camp which has been running from the Marion Terrace court for the last 2 weeks.
The camp will run from 10am to 1pm at a cost of 30 euros and it may be possible for children to participate for the final two weeks.

A Mystery League will run from next week until the week before the club championships. Games will be played on either Tuesday or Thursday between 2pm and 4pm. First games to be played next Tuesday for ages 10, 11 and 12. Teenagers will play on Thursdays. No exceptions to the age groups will be made. The rules will be outlined at the club in more detail.
